Who are we?
We are God's children in 6th through 12th grades. Our common interest is that we love fellowship, friendship, and following God.
When do we meet?
We meet several times per week. Feel free to come to one or all.
Sunday @ 10:45 a.m. for Sunday School (during second service)
Sunday @ 6:00 p.m. for Youth Group and Faithweavers
Tuesday @ 6:00 p.m. for Bible Study
Where do we meet?
All of our typical meetings take place in various locations at the Taylorsville campus.
- Sunday School meets in Room 12 in the main building
- Youth Group meets in the Youth House on typical nights and in Fellowship hall on Faithweavers nights
- Bible Study meets in the Youth House
What do we do?
Everything we do is centered around growing our relationships with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
During sunday school we discuss an ever-varying list of topics relating to life, culture, faith, and God. Sunday school takes place during the second service at Taylorsville, which means that if the teens want to attend the service and sunday school, they have to go to church during the first service. We chose second service time for sunday school because we find that most teens are more awake at the later hour! :)
Youth group meetings generally start with an hour of games and fellowship, followed by a snack and then a devotion. Faithweaver nights (every other Sunday) begin with a common dinner in the fellowship hall, followed by a short game and then a devotion.
Bible study begins with dinner at the youth house, often provided by one of the youth and their family, followed by studies from the Bible that apply to the life of a teen.
