Education, Health & Recreation
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Christian education is an important part of life for all ages at Sulphur Grove. In addition to our Sunday School classes
that meet every Sunday from 8:45-9:45 or 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. at the Taylorsville Campus, we offer on Sunday evenings Faith Weavers
Friends for children in grades K-5 and our Youth Fellowship for young people in grades 6-12. On Tuesday evenings we have
Disciple Bible Study. Our Sunday school schedule includes age appropriate classes for two-year-old
children through 5th grade. Childcare for newborns and toddlers is also provided.
Check the monthly newsletter calendar for up-to-date educational opportunities.
HEALTH & RECREATION
Our health ministries at Sulphur Grove include educational seminars as well as direct services such as weekly blood
pressure screenings. Each month we host the Montgomery County Combined Health District in offering a free immunization
clinic as part of the "KISS Your Child" program. Each quarter our Blood Drive ministry hosts the Bloodmobile from
Dayton's Community Blood Center. Periodic care groups are offered for support of those going through grief and loss.
Yet, on the lighter side, we host weekly groups for Square-dancing in our new
Activities Center, sponsor two summer softball
teams, and sponsor various recreational outings through our family ministries.
